Devon is arguably most famous for its Devonshire cream tea. Bringing with it the age-old debate- jam or cream first? Well, traditionally Devon folk put the cream on the scone first then the jam, while the people of Cornwall prefer the jam first and then the cream.
However, you eat yours- from the 12th April the Roadford Lake café & bistro will be open once more for a takeaway service only. 17th May will see the indoor seating area of the café open, pending covid guidelines. Serving cream teas and local produce, a great spot for catching up with friends whilst overlooking the lake, whether its brunch, lunch or coffee and cake.
